Great read! This book has a wonderful message for kids about writing the story of their lives and how they should strive to fill every page with positivity and adventure.
I really enjoyed Richard Gleason's "Sprout" as we follow Woodsprout, a young boy on a journey of self-discovery. Gifted a special book by his father, Woodsprout sets out to fill its pages with his life's story. Along the way, he encounters a diverse cast of characters who teach him valuable lessons of knowledge, truth, and goodness. Gleason's enchanting storytelling invites readers to embrace the pursuit of wisdom and the wonders of lifelong learning. "Sprout" is a captivating and thought-provoking tale that resonates with readers of all ages. It is beautifully illustrated as well.
A book full of vital life lessons for all ages. I will be sharing this book with my family from teens to adults. Sprouts journey was a wonderful reminder about the important things in life.

Sprout shares a young boy's journey to fill the pages of "his life's story" journal. Combining fairy tale elements, humor, and philosophical wisdom, Richard Gleason weaves a lovely story sure to capture both children and adults. I absolutely loved the underlying messages in this book. While Sprout will definitely entertain little kids, parents can utilize many quotes from this book as prompts to begin thought-provoking conversations with their children. (Sprout contains a study guide and a glossary.) Congratulations to Richard's family for republishing this amazing story!
Every so often a book has the potential to change lives across generations. As a co-CEO, we use this book as a gift for our team for onboarding training. The symbolic nature of the red book reignites the long-life learning we need as we face unknowns and build self-awareness. The lessons are timeless, such as, facing dragons and the meaning of life through the eyes of the characters. The Norheim Family represent those of the highest caliber of character and integrity. Sprout is bound to become an ageless classic loved by all, especially children figuring out how to navigate through uncertainties of life. This is a book I would like every parent to read along with children. Reading a chapter with my daughter and son after dinner every day became a wonderful experience for the family to look forward to and go on the adventure of discovery with Sprout together. The art by Taylor Suzenski is multi-layered, wonderfully evocative and enhances the narrative. This book, in essence, is about connecting to the child within each of us. Therefore, this book is highly recommended reading not only for parents and children but also for innovators all over the world.
